Following his apprenticeship as a banker Dr. Heinrich Beyer studied economic sciences. After that he held a position as research assistant at the University of Kassel. During this time he lead several research projects for Bertelsmann Stiftung and Hans Böckler Stiftung. In 1995 he relocated to Bertelsmann Gütersloh as head of division. From 1999 to 2005 he was commercial director for a medium-sized company. Since 2006 he has been managing director of the AGP - Bundesverband Mitarbeiterbeteiligung (federal association employee participation).
